Speaker Series Topic: Unleashing Your Unfair Competitive Advantage: 5 Rules to Win in the Business of Being You

Presenter:
Isha Cogborn
Epiphany Institute

About our speaker:
Isha Cogborn believes that work shouldn’t be a four-letter word. And that’s what led her to launch Epiphany Institute, a professional development company that teaches people to earn a living doing what they love. She specializes in helping people transition from traditional employment to entrepreneurship with the talents and expertise they already possess.
Before becoming an entrepreneur, Isha worked to manage the brand of the largest chemical company in the world. From trade shows in Brazil to hosting live broadcasts from the United Nations, Isha excelled professionally, but suffered from severe work-related stress and chronic illness. When she was downsized at the height of the recession in 2009, Isha ordered new business cards the very next day and began the long-awaited career of her dreams.

Through coaching, training, keynotes and media appearances, Isha inspires women and men around the world to move beyond fear, uncertainty and confusion to walk confidently in their callings. In addition to her blog, The Business of Being You at CoachIsha.com, she’s a regular contributor for several media outlets and publications and will release her first book this year.

A Michigan native, Isha moved to Phoenix in 2010 where she lives with her 17- year-old son, Deon.

Pitch Night

We are pleased to announce that in addition to our Speaker Series that once a quarter we will host a Pitch Night at our monthly meetup.  Pitch Night will help our aspiring entrepreneurs within the Engineers Unite community to demonstrate their products and receive feedback from other Engineers Unite members.

Each presenter is given 10 minutes to Pitch their product/business to the group and at the end of 3-4 pitches will be a Q&A period for the audience to ask questions and give feedback.

We are currently seeking additional presenters for our July 10th meetup.  Please contact Scott Yee, contact@engineersunite.org if you would like to participate.

We have also changed our meetup location.  The Scottsdale Microsoft Store has graciously allowed us to host our meetups at their Scottsdale Fashion Square location starting in July onwards
